558 Eugenie C. Scott - investment scams

I'm almost done with the Lego construction of Minas Tirith.

I know.

You probably don't even know what that is.

It's a Lord of the Rings thing.

It's the White City.

And there's a ginormous fucking Lego set.

Almost 8,300 pieces.

And I am done with, I think... bag 56 or about the start bag 56 out of 60 so only four or five more bags to go so it's really cool and of course the biggest problem i'm gonna have is once it's built what do i do with it i really enjoy the build process but once it's built where does it go and uh I don't know.

don't know what I'm going to do with it.

I'll have to figure something out.

For now, it's going to be on the dinner table for a while until the wife says it's got to move.

We have people over or something.

Anywho, in the show coming up, we're going to talk to Jeannie Scott, Eugenie Scott.

She is the former executive director for the National Center for Science Education.

She's been on the show before.

It's been a while, but we used to talk about... battling evolution and creationism.

I'm sorry, battling creationism against evolution and battling climate science denial in public schools.

And she's now going to talk about a scam that was perpetrated on her elder sister.

So we've got that coming up.

A couple of scam things, because I've also got a little segment where I'm just talking about things going on in my life right after this intro section.
