The easiest shot is to take a shot at intelligence, which kind of leads to the next guy, only Therese, who's a, I've noticed like second year students are the ones that have the most opinions.
So this dude's like, I'm a second year DO student.
He's, I'm assuming this guy's really intelligent, but he's never spoken to a patient in his fucking life.
And he's like, let's get on live and compare our knowledge.
Let's see who knows more since you guys think you know so much.
It's like, bro, if
I could
help someone and then let's have a conversation.
I always find it funny when like they get frustrated by simplifying things and they just assume that you're stupid.
But it's like, yeah, you had to say that so that the patient could understand it.
Well,
it's a misunderstanding of who you're talking to, right? Like so much...
Of the arguing I see online about this kind of thing is a trained professional, medical professional in some sense, whether it's, you know, physio, GP, surgeon, over baseline description that is aimed at a patient being like, well, that's not a like PhD level dissertation.
You're like, well, of course it's not because I'm trying to talk to people that don't have the background.
Like this is that classic curse of knowledge where everyone assumes everyone knows what they must know.
And then what you see is like, you must guys want to see this all the time with your marketing background, but like professionals trying to talk to patients, like they would talk if they were talking to another professional.
And so the patient has no idea what's going on, but these are those posts that get all these like thumbs up and like, yes, queen comments from other professionals.
It's like, yeah, sweet.
You've got to like a big circle jerk from all your mates, but like you got zero patients from it.
Right.
So unless you're trying to sell, like if you're trying to sell a continuing education product to other professionals, that would make sense.
If you're trying to actually market to patients, worthless.
It's just a complete misunderstanding of basic communication and then like psychology.
Yeah.
A hundred percent.
