Chloe Fineman Leaves SNL, Kelly Clarkson's New Song + Alicia Creti Vintage Vault Interview!

Time to catch you up to speed with what's going on in the world of music and entertainment.

First of all, it was, uh, a very big ending to the FIFA World Cup, with so many artists showing up for the, uh, pregame show and also the halftime show at the, uh, the World Cup final.

And so a big shout-out, first of all, I would say to Jennifer Hudson, who did an absolutely amazing job performing the American national anthem.

Also, there was, uh, Post Malone showing up to, uh, preview a new song, Chrome Heartbreaker.

He also did Wow, and then he brought out Swae Lee for Sunflower, which was fantastic.

And I have to tell you, Post Malone always looks great.

He just has such a swagger, and you can tell he is an absolutely amazing artist.

When it came to the halftime show, the queen of all things pop, um, Miss Madonna, she, uh, came out and did music, and of course, everyone was so happy to, uh, to see her, uh, performing live on American soil.

It seems like it's been a hot minute since we've seen her in front of such a huge crowd like that in the United States.

And so, uh, she did her thing.

BTS were there.

Uh, Justin Bieber, again, s- showing this kind of stripped down version of how he's performing as of late, coming out with his, uh, guitar, an acoustic guitar, and then singing Everything Hallelujah from his Swag 3 album.

Uh, Shakira and Burna Boy, they wrapped things up with their, uh, big hit song from the FIFA World Cup, Die Die.

And, uh, even Tom Cruise was there, uh, before the, um, the game to, you know, kind of give these inspiring words in front of all those people at the stadium in New Jersey.

And, uh, yeah, I think a lot of people enjoyed the show, and I think it was important for the Americans to put on, uh, this type of, um, performance and, and entertainment so the world could see that they, uh, you know, know what to bring when it is time for FIFA World Cup action.

So congratulations to all involved.

Now, uh, speaking of Post Malone, I will say that he's been teasing, uh, some new music, and as we saw, he came out with Chrome Heartbreaker during FIFA World Cup.

Uh, a few days before that, he actually put on his social media, uh, Instagram is where I saw it.

Um, no, actually, sorry, on X. X is where I saw it.

He was, um, basically lip syncing in a studio, uh, to new music.

And so it was great to see him, uh, doing that, but what's interesting is that over the last few years, we've normally seen Post Malone, uh, be recording country music, but this definitely has hip hop flair.

So, uh, it looks like he's heading back to that type of genre of music, hip hop and pop, and so we'll see what comes of it.

But again, Chrome Heartbreaker, when he did perform this new song, it definitely seemed to be in that vein.

And so looking forward to seeing if we're getting a new album from, uh, from Post Malone in the pop space.

So we'll see.
