Uh, David Beck, that's my other character.

Uh, David Burroughs gets a, gets a, um, a visitor.

Some people take pages and pages before they would get to the visitor.

I never, ever blend those.

In the case of what you and I did together, it was an original idea, and this is the only time this ever happened to me.

When I first thought of the character playing the doctor for Lazarus, I actually thought of Bill.

I never dreamed in a million years I would get Bill to play that role, and I remember saying, "Can we give it a shot? Can we just send it a shot?" And then you called me on the phone.

Myron Bolitar.

She will play the role as a wrestler named Fury.

The show is based on the Harlan Coben novels-

They're loud, they're gregarious, they don't shut up for a minute.

Myron Bolitar, who is my series character, is always cracking wise, and just, you know, they could have a fi- ho- you know, one scene together, and you're gonna get that from them.

And so you have to sort of reflect what they are.

But I just can't, I don't know how to put it other than to say it's not a conscious decision.

You can't have, um, loud without quiet.

If my story is this, is always storming going on in the story, then a rainstorm's not gonna mean anything.

So I think of my stories, especially my, the ones that are not the Myron Bolitar ones, the ones that involve sort of family, it's a very placid pool.

It's a very placid lake or pond or whatever it is, and so even a small rock can cause a ripple.
