Well, before we get to the basketball story, that just won't go anywhere.

It just gets more embarrassing by the day.

We are headed to the bottom of the ninth inning in Tampa.

The game is still 2-2.

Why is the game still 2-2? Because sometimes instant replay giveth and instant replay sometimes taketh away.

Pratt is caught stealing with two outs.

And it looked like he was safe.

And upon every review I saw, it looked like he was safe.

I concur.

Throw goes down to second.

The tag is made.

And you can see that the ball is caught and...

It's caught near Pratt's hand, his backhand, the one that's held down his left hand, as he's sliding into the base.

But it doesn't look like the glove ever touches his hand.

And by the time the sweep tag comes up with the glove, he's on the base.

Now, on the...

Field, it was ruled a stolen base.

Now, if you're the Rays, you got a challenge, right? You can't put the World Series winning run on second base.

And they went and they looked at it a lot, right? They looked at this thing a lot.

And the tag, I still, of all the different angles they showed, and they showed a lot of different angles on this, I never saw a definitive angle where I could say, yep, he tagged his hand right there.

And they did the whole thing, here's the replay in Secaucus and all this, and here's what we got.

And we got dirt flying.

Yeah.

But I just did not see anywhere where the tag was made.

And, I mean...
