Thanks for listening to this recent message from the Island Church in Orange Beach, AL. If you accepted Jesus today through this message text "next" to 251-244-2030. Our team would love to connect…
And so this morning, I'm calling this message Change Up, Four Changes All Christians Should Make.
Now, we're right at the middle of the year, okay? I don't know if you remember back at New Year's, Some of us make resolutions.
Hey, guess what? How's everybody doing with their resolutions, their goals that they set? Does anybody even remember their goals that they set in January? Okay.
But what I'm saying to you, regardless of those goals, regardless of New Year's, if this year is not going the way you want it to go, guess what? We got six more months.
there's an opportunity to make some changes, okay? In baseball, when a pitcher throws a change up, it's usually followed by a couple of fastballs, maybe a sinker.
He puts some heat on it, and then he dials it back 10 to 15 miles an hour just to throw the batter off to strike him out, okay? You can strike out the enemy in your life this year still, if you make some necessary changes, okay? And there are changes, I think, in this passage that speak to us today that we all should make as Christ followers.
