🔴 Freedom in Christ to Make Decisions | Shame About Your Past | Whatever Is NOT of Faith Is Sin? | Watching TV Shows

How do you know we have freedom to make decisions? for our career.

I talk about this a lot.

How do you know we have freedom to make decisions for our career, daily decisions? How did you find out that we have so much freedom in Christ? Well, I found out the hard way because I lived a kind of life where I was obsessively asking God, trying to hear Him say something to me to tell me what to do.

And it took me a long time to realize that I have the freedom to be able to make decisions.

So how did I learn that biblically? Well, I looked throughout the scriptures from beginning to end.

I mean, right in the beginning when God created Adam and he said, Adam, be fruitful and multiply.

You know, it's like, here's marriage.

Now go be fruitful and multiply.

And so there are structures that God created.

God created marriage.

God created work that we can go about and contribute to.

God created our need for relationships.

We can choose relationships.

You can make a friend.

You can move on from a friendship.

You can get a job.

You can change jobs.

You can live somewhere.

You can move.

And even God said to him, Adam, go ahead and name the animals.

And God didn't say, I mean, I'm sorry, Adam didn't say, you know, is this a zebra? God, is this your will that I should name it a zebra? No.

So even in that time, you see the freedom there.

You also see in the Old Testament, which there's so much of just simple, just making decisions.

And whether it was getting married, and getting married was often a very, I shall be married to her.

And what's her name, by the way? Getting married seemed a bit simpler in decision-making back then.
