Big Box Editions for Games That Never Got One with Sir Randall of Ye Old Press

Okay, so let's break into the news.

So first thing that I'm really excited about is Zaxxor, who does a lot of really cool mods.

He did the triple bypass for the Genesis, the 3.1 version kind of thing.

Doing some cool stuff to it.

He's releasing something called the Palette Cleanser on Friday, which I've been looking forward to, which basically allows the PC Engine or TurboGrafx-16 or whatever variant of that console you own to do RGB in the original colors.

Because that was the issue, right? If you did RGB, you had different kind of more saturated, not quite right colors.

Yeah.

But you could do composite or I think even S-video if you used his Turbonanza thing and you would have the right color.

So now you get the little palette cleanser thing, pop it in.

That's so cool.

It's so cool, yeah.

If you already have his Turbo Nanza installed, it's plug-and-play, too.

There's no soldering.

If you don't have it installed, there is some soldering involved, but it will apparently work on, I think, anything else that you have that does the RGB.

So, pretty stoked about that.

I don't think he said how much it costs, but it is on his Ko-Fi.

I think it goes live around 10 a.m. Central, so...

I don't know.

A lot of work goes into that.

So I think whatever he's asking, it should be pretty fair and worth it.

I think so too.

And he's usually pretty good about being fair with his prices too.

So I don't suspect it's going to be anything crazy, but I'll definitely be getting one.

I'm super excited to...

You know, it's like some people say, oh, it's like a small difference.
