Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster

I played the, um, Final Fantasy I. I had never played Final Fantasy I. I played the Pixel Remaster.

Um, and I beat it in, like, a week, and I thought it was great.

It was exactly what I wanted.

Final Fantasy I is its own game.

You can play that as Pixel Remaster already.

people that are probably amped for monster hunter you know i and i've

... evocative, uh, character art.

The, this same company would be like, "You know what? This looks good," when it comes to the Pixel Remasters.

I think it's a, an overcorrection.

It's like a, it's sort of like, um...

Yeah.

But, like, I think the int- in- original intent was for them to, like, look like that, and it's just, like, it's, it, the visuals have caught up with modern fidelity.

So I think that the, the, what they've done to the fonts in these games and just a lot of the art in general in these Pixel Remasters, uh, they're making...

They're, they're sort of like, "This is what it w- this is what we wanted it to look like.

Odd.

I was worried about jumping back into that because it's been a couple months since I touched that game.

And you know how when you play a JRPG and you haven't played it in a while, you forget the mechanics and it's like, what do I do? Where do you pick up where you left off? But The nice thing about Final Fantasy IV is that you're constantly changing your party.

The Pi- yeah, the Pixel Remaster version.

Um, not the DS remake, although I do have, um, a copy of that, and I'm not a, like, against playing that in the future.

Um, and not to the same degree, but, um, game kinda rocks.

... like I've only put in like maybe six or seven hours.

Yeah, and I, I think if I recall correctly, Pixel Remaster is also a bit less grindy, uh, than like the original, so like that certainly helps as well.
