The Extra Point Podcast | Across America: Neil & Fletch on the season ahead | 022

And what we are gonna do as well during the course of the episode today, we've got the trip.

Yeah.

The first trip, which, um, is in September.

So we're gonna tell you all about that.

We'll give you all the details.

We want as many of you to come as is, uh, physically possible.

Um, just to kind of paraphrase.

I'll give you the details later.

Los Angeles [clears throat] and Green Bay.

So that, they're, they're, they're the two major centers that we're gonna be, so it's gonna be a great trip.

But we'll tell you all about that, uh, the Elite Sports Travel side of things a little bit later on.

The other two are fascinating that you mentioned as well, Terry McLaurin and Jayden Daniels, because neither of them were healthy last season.

One or two people thought the Washington Commanders could be Super Bowl contenders based on what we saw the year before.

Jayden Daniels couldn't stay healthy.

Terry McLaurin couldn't stay on the field.

Mm.

What's the prognosis for those two? Are they back? Are they fit? Are they healthy? Are the Commanders gonna be the team that we thought they would be last year, this year?

So yeah, to your point, three games they were on the field together last year, and they both kind of referenced that.

Uh, Jayden Daniels, it's tricky when someone has a really kind of serious season of injuries, 'cause you've gotta bring it up.

You've gotta talk about it, and you, you just feel like how are you gonna kind of broach that? And, and so we, we did talk about it, and he said, "I've learned..." And we'll see if he has, but he said, "I've, I've learned to f- to fight another day." So basically, he's been speaking to Dan Quinn.

It's fourth down with the game on the line.

Yeah, you're gonna dive for a first down.

You're gonna go for it.

You're gonna run.

Um, but I think we'll see a bit- ... more of a cautious Jayden Daniels, uh, in 2026, and that's not a bad thing.
