Iceland

Um, I have a daughter, and she's dyslexic, and for years I've seen, you know, her brother come down in the morning and read the newspaper, and I would always think to myself, like, how is this little girl going to actually access the world's knowledge? She just cannot read, um, the paper.

And we were traveling in Iceland that summer, and it was right when Chat, um, was released in voice mode.

And I remember handing it to her and said, "Why don't you try this out? Maybe you can learn about the world through this." And she-- I remember talking to ChatGPT, and she used like please and thank you, and she was like, "Hey, my, my mom wants me to learn about current events.

Can you help me?" And Chat replied and said, you know, "What are you interested in learning?" And she started saying she was interested in astronauts, in space, and the next thing I know, Chat was talking to her about the Mars Rover and the history of the space, um, program.

And as a Genoese, he joined a colony of expatriate Genoese sailors in Portugal.

Later on, he was exploring the coast of West Africa, and actually aboard another ship made it all the way to Iceland.

So even as a young person, Columbus had been around, mostly as what we would call a merchant marine.

And he worked carefully with his brothers, especially his brother Bartholomew, who was a mapmaker.

Okay? He basically said, "Rather than fight me, let me give you Sicily, and you can go run that any way you want, as long as you stay loyal to me." So what Trump will do is he will basically colonize the entire Western Hemisphere.

Okay? Canada, Greenland, Iceland, Mexico, Venezuela, Latin America, it will all come under American control.

And what Trump will do is he will partition the, um, colonies, to powerful American factions, like multinationals.

Okay? So maybe Exxon gets control over the Alberta tar sets.

Okay? This is not a, a, a...

This is not, um, a fight.

Okay? So, um, I think Trump will take over Greenland, Iceland, Canada, uh, Mexico, um, Cuba, Venezuela, basically all of, uh, Latin America and North America, and then give it to all his friends.

Okay? Which includes, uh, multinationals, but also includes, um, private individuals and families as well.

It was wild.

And then like I traveled around Iceland, lots of like mountaineering, all of it solo because I was sort of in this like, I needed to prove to myself that I was capable of overcoming hard things essentially.

Like when I look back, I'm realizing that's what I was doing.

And also just being in like a very quiet, vast, large landscape was sort of like, it almost felt like the only place that was big enough to like carry what I was holding.

Oh, almost like the New York Times, huh? Where's all their proof? A lot of conjecture, but they sure haven't provided us with any proof.

It's nice in Scandinavia.

Iceland is pretty cool.

I mean, I don't know.

Asia is pretty cool.

My husband and I,

we honeymoon in Iceland.

And so we did the typical, like, I think that's something that everyone does.

Maybe not.

And it smells like farts.

Yeah.

I will say, at least Iceland, walking around, you didn't smell it.

But it was any time water was involved, it was overwhelming.

And he said, look, come up to say goodbye.

So he was in the van and he said, look, we're going to Iceland.

Do you want to come? And I thought, that's nice.

When, like next week or

And I hadn't been anywhere for like years.

And I said, can you give me like a day? So...

Yeah, they flew me over to Iceland, went there.

I had the roar in the house.

And now I'm actually my wife and I are actually participating in Safe One Life's fundraiser, their big annual fundraiser.

And we're doing a 40 mile five day hike in Iceland.

Oh, wow.

And we're doing that here in August.
