Or AFC West, which I think confused both me, me and you-

... company in, in the AFC West with the Chargers and everything.

And, you know, took some flak for, for saying, "Hey, the Chiefs are gonna be back this year." And we all actually, a lot of us, picked the Chiefs to win the division.

But, you know, I, I'm not gonna sit here and act like I didn't think the Broncos are gonna be a good team.

[laughs] Then you win, then you lose the next two.

Ooh, this season is gonna fall off the rails quick for the Denver Broncos, and the Chiefs are gonna reclaim their throne once again in the AFC West because they brought in a superstar running back to complement Patrick Mahomes.

And one thing you never do is doubt the Kansas City Chiefs.

Can't say I didn't anticipate anything less than what was just said right now.

think the ravens are there they look like a buzzsaw right now which is yeah it's one it's one week but everybody's like your only question is like okay you have a first time offensive play caller defense you expect to be great and then they come out and just completely dominate week one and lamar jackson and derrick kramer look just completely unstoppable so I think you expect the Ravens and the Bills to just be kind of back to what they have been previously and those two teams are going to be at top of the AFC and like best case scenario for the Chargers they somehow can manage to scrape together an AFC West division but you look at Obviously, somebody has to win the AFC South, right? Jacksonville, Houston both look like playoff teams.

Bengals look like a playoff team.

Patriots were in the AFC Championship game last year.

Well, maybe it's yeah, maybe it's just a game or two down the road that we'll see Harbaugh stump his toe and kind of get ready and reacclimated as the Giants new head coach.

Monday Night Football last night saw an AFC West matchup between Bo Nix and Patrick Mahomes, Chiefs and Broncos.

First touchdown of the season for the Chiefs was that 15-yard run for Mahomes.

Let's talk about the losers first.

This was not a good showing from the reigning AFC West champions who so many of us had expectations for going into this year.

Yeah, I mean, the total number of missed tackles for them, 28.

I mean, I think there are certain teams who won't get to that point before week four.

They're really not.

But the Chargers do worry me.

And then they also said that the Raiders might not finish last in the AFC West.

This is before the Broncos lost to the Patriots and the Broncos showed up what they did.

They showed up like they just expected, Oh, we're the Broncos.

We won the AFC West last year.

We can just show up and, you know, people will bow down to us.

Casey wanted a more better coached, more intensity and did the one thing that we scream about on here.

Yeah,

I think one of the things that's interesting is all the AFC West offensive coordinators, kind of the tweaks.

I mean, the fact that Davis Webb was given the play calling duties first time around, not so good.

They bring in Mike McDaniel with the Chargers.

Or Patriots team that's in it for the wild card or a Texans and Jaguars.

I mean, there are plenty of other teams out there that you're going to be competing with.

So those games, if you are runner up in the AFC West, if you want to get in as a wild card, you can't be coughing up the ones that are the gimmies because you've got enough tough games on your schedule that are going to put some losses out there.

I mean, what do you think? Let me put it this way, Jeff.

I mean, and also I think currently in the AFC West, the Chiefs are top of the ladder again.
