36. Get To Know The Host: Brynn | Part 2

Mm-hmm.

So there's a book, and y- maybe we could put the link in the podcast notes.

There's a book that you're reading now, and you've read several car books.

But the one now that you're reading has, like, a car per page-

Mm-hmm

... and a description, right? How much have you learned about just reading about cars, and what are the, some of the places that you find that information?

Well, obviously one of the better places to find stuff like this would be, um, you know, news pages, uh, from Top Gear, Petrolicious, Octane, really whoever.

But car journalism is a prominent thing.

Um, books is also very important, especially, I tend to go for 10 or 20-year-old books, because at the...

You know, go back 20 years, the GT3 RS isn't popular.

Mm.

The new Ford GT doesn't exist.

You know, a lot of things are a lot smaller than they are now.

And, and, like, the Holy Trinity doesn't exist, which means they have less history to talk about.

So they are gonna have a, a higher tendency to find weird stuff to talk about, like the Citroën GSA, because there's less popular stuff to talk about.

Hmm.

That's a good point.

So that's, that's kind of my strategy, is just go, go back, you know, 20 years.

See what you can find.

That's pretty cool.

Mm-hmm.
