It's called the eSky and it's meant to be a long-range EV in this segment.

This arrangement reduces hardware occupying the front compartment and the passenger cabin, creating additional interior space, leaving more space at the front for absorbing crash energy.

The RACO developed for Japan's K-Car market is 3.4 metres long, 1.475 metres wide and 1.8 metres high.

Now, Japan's rules are pretty much the same.

So if you want to be a K-Car in Japan and hit those regulatory vehicle dimensions, it's again 3.4 metres long, 1.48 metres wide and 2 metres high.

So the only thing about the BYD RACO is it's a lot lower than it could be.

The planned global application is intended to replicate its space utilisation techniques and approaches rather than those specific compact dimensions.
