Absolutely.
And I'm sure that you've seen the chatter about it, obviously.
Well, it's kind of been the talk of all offseason.
It's just the rebounding questions for the Wolves.
But something that does give me a little bit of hope that I don't see people talking about as much as I thought they were going to is LaMelo Ball's upside on the boards.
The dude is... six, seven and can damn near stand and touch his kneecaps.
Like he is a long lanky guy.
And I think that that is going to, that that's going to benefit the wolves and LaMelo is going to have to have not only throughout the year, but against Miami specifically, he's going to have to come out.
He's going to have to be aggressive on the boards.
I guess what what's your kind of opinion on that? Because I've I have seen some people that are like not necessarily impressed with the mellow balls rebounding ability, especially for being a point guard, which kind of like blows my mind a little bit.
Like, do you think that that's kind of being overlooked, underlooked? Or I guess where's your stance on the mellow as a rebounder?
I think he's actually underrated as a rebounder.
I watched a lot of his tape out in Charlotte just because they're a really fun team.
And just like, you know, his name is Lamella Ball.
But, you know, now that I've watched him because he's on my team, like frequently, he's definitely a very underrated rebounder, especially due to, you know, his matchup being probably smaller than him because he's 6'7", like you said.
So he has that height advantage.
And he does crash the boards like we've seen in preseason.
He does try to go up there and grab rebounds and try to challenge Rudy Gobert sometimes.
You see them kind of try to grab the same ball at the same time and stuff like that.
But I think he's going to do just fine.
But Where I think we could, you know, somebody could take that next jump in terms of rebounding is Anthony Edwards.
And I think I've seen a clip, wasn't it Steve Kerr, during like the USA basketball tryouts and stuff like that, you saying that his next step for his progression is to get rebounds and stuff like that.
I think that's 100% correct.
He has the frame.
He has the motor.
Absolutely.
