Uh, obviously Jalen hurts is going to be the starter, um, new offense, the season going under center, trying to, uh, basically play a little bit more like the Green Bay style from last year, where we're going to see a lot of two tight end sets, two wide receiver sets, playing under center, doing play action, different things like that.
There hasn't been anything that really tells me that Jalen Hurts is performing poorly in this situation.
But I am concerned because I do think that when they lose a guy like A.J. Brown, even though he wasn't full-on A.J. Brown last year.
I think it will hurt this offense quite a bit because of what he offers that's different than the guys that they brought in to replace him.
Mekhi Lemon... is more of a slot and short underneath kind of player, whereas A.J. Brown, when he was who he was, was a three-level threat that could do everything.
I thought that, like, I kind of like Makai Lemon's prospect profile, but the fact that he hasn't gotten that many snaps in practice and all sorts of stuff, I think is something that we should be a little bit concerned about.
Uh, and then again, I've said this many times, like the way that they like to operate, um, over the middle of the field is what they're trying to ask, uh, them to do.
And I just don't know that that's, that's going to be working very well with, uh, my friend down hurts.
Um, I feel like there's a possibility that he can, but I'm also not 100% sure that he can do it.
His rates, whenever he does throw over the middle of the field, are decently strong.
But he throws over the middle of the field at one of the least rates in the entire NFL.
And so to me, that's just another level of something concerning where I don't know exactly what I'm getting whenever that all comes into play.
for me, a guy that I'm not really that interested in taking a chance on in drafts right now.
Outside of the receiving room, or sorry, outside of the quarterback room, we've got the receivers.
On the receiving side, we basically only need to focus on the top three, like Hollywood Brown, Elijah Moore, all those types of guys.
