Episode 43: The 8th Commandment

Now, an analogy that I often use in this respect is from the natural order.

Our Lord was always giving parables from the natural order to try to help people understand these higher truths.

We know that the light from the sun has a lot to do with life as we know it.

If the light of the sun were to be extinguished, we'd be in big trouble because without light, Photosynthesis can't take place.

We wouldn't have green plants.

Without the green plants, most of the animals wouldn't have anything to eat.

So we have no plants, no animals, and pretty soon man would be in big trouble.

The earth would grow cold.

We need the light of the sun.

Now there's another sun, the sun of God.

the son of Mary, the son of man, the son of justice.

And if that sun doesn't shine, the world also grows cold.

The light of truth, when it's extinguished, brings in its sway a death wish.

When truth is attacked, When the truth is turned upside down, when the light, the light of truth is obscured or extinguished, what follows in its trail? Death.

When we begin to call lies the truth.

Example, it isn't really a human being in the womb.

Lie.

When we begin to call lies the truth, and when we begin to call the truth a lie, Oh, it's not a human being in the womb.

Oh, a person who's not living a full life as we would like them.

They get sick, elderly, whatever.

Well, they really shouldn't live.

Their quality of life isn't what it should be.

Therefore, perhaps we should let them go or even terminate them.

When you turn reality upside down, that's much like that other analogy I always seem to be using about that transposition of the poles of the electrical current.

You know, when you put the positive where the negative should have been, the negative where the positive should have been.
