On this episode, Ryan and Clark talk about: The Padres series win over the Yankees, Luis Campusano, Nick Pivetta, Ethan Salas, losing series to the Reds and Pirates, and much more,
Ryan CohenHostUm, which for a lot of the second half they have done, but in that sort of four game series stretch, certainly were not doing.
It was a really unfortunate time too, because the Phillies did you a favor and helped out and took care of the Diamondbacks.
It was an opportunity not to put away the race by any means, but give yourself two and a half, maybe two, maybe if you really played it right, three games to work with.
You have no longer given yourself the opportunity to have that slip up in there, it feels like.

The, the bad teams, you have to win the series and you cannot get swept the rest of the way, kind of no matter what.

There's the Trop, there's the weird Samad Taylor drop, there's the Luis Rengifo injury.

Like weird stuff happened and I, I don't think that makes you a bad team because of three bad games.

But those three were just massively frustrating, [laughs] very difficult to watch.

And when you lose two out of three to Cincinnati, including a real stinker in the day game to wrap the series, coming home, it's like you, now you gotta handle the Yankees.

The Yankees come to San Diego once every two years, like, you know it's gonna be a packed crowd.
