I mean, there's been big news every day at this point, but the most pressing conversation for us to have now is the press conference.

Brad Stevens and Chisholm finally took to the podium to address the Jalen Brown trade and.

try to give fans a sense of understanding which i don't think a lot of people did leave with as much um peace as they thought they would but garrett you were in the room for that when we heard a few of your questions as well so i'll let you start with what your reaction was to that overall press conference
uh quite honestly i don't think there was a lot of clarity as why this deal was done i think there was clarity as to why Jalen Brown was traded.
There's why was Jalen Brown traded? There was why was Jalen Brown traded, had to be traded now, and why was Jalen Brown traded to the Philadelphia 76ers for Paul George in what has been basically, overall, people say it's a terrible deal.
Okay, so the question is, I think the question was answered, I think, why was Jalen Brown traded? Okay.
I think that everyone can kind of understand that you don't want for, let's say, a $201 million salary cap, you don't want two players making $71 million.
And that was the distinct possibility of what the Celtics were facing in coming years because the same two-year $142 million extension Jalen was up for before he was traded, Jason's up for the same deal.
I think the rest, why this deal, why they dangled them, why they didn't wait, none of that really got answered.
And then I think Chisholm was a little confusing of saying that all these moves including the Brown move, was basketball moves.
Like, oh, is that right? Like, to me, this was a salary move in terms of not the sellers being cheap, but not wanting to pay Jalen Brown long term.
Watergate, everything that's happening in the last two, three years with the Celtics has been Jalen's fault.
And not to say that he's a flawed player without question, but he's a good player.
