Paul Pierce

And the worst part is when he came back, he had toilet

Yeah, I'll DJ at halftime.

And by the way, Paul Pierce.

You know, no hate here, but I think you should invest in Icy Hot.

Maybe some Reebok, Krispy Kreme, Pepsi, Papa John's.

There were periods of just incredibly bad offensive offense.

The superstars put their capes on.

They dressed up as superheroes for Halloween tonight.

Coop and Kyrie were unbelievable players.

The game was tied at 96. Cooper Flagg scores four straight points, and he got to work to start to help close the show.

And in a night where the Mavericks had pretty short rotation in terms of his number of players, you needed every ounce of what you got to from the 19-year-old and the 34-year-old, them leading the charge offensively, and to see them respond and play off one another, you look at the final three, four minutes of this game, Koop assisting Kyrie, Kyrie assisting Cooper Flagg, The two of them put the Mavericks on their back tonight and gave this team a big win.

And responding after the way that they did in that first game against the Houston Rockets where they got obliterated in that second quarter, got obliterated in the second quarter tonight again, but this team stayed close and stayed tethered throughout the course of the game and got enough contributions from other guys to allow the two superstars to take it home.

So that was my big takeaway is that your two superstars recognized the moment put the team on their back and delivered in the biggest moments when they needed to.

I would say if you asked...

Broke Paul Pierce.

If he thought – did you see that story in TMZ that he's broke? I did read a

headline.

It was much more dramatic for him to...

I mean, Paul Pierce getting carried off in a wheelchair and then coming back is up there.

But Paul Pierce to get in the ambulance and come back to the game fully dressed with no medical assistance or equipment.

Yeah.

Oh, man.

Right.

Because you had Cole Rosario, who is still kind of a young buck, but before he, Trey and Melvin came back, he was like the veteran, right? Him and Paul, essentially.

Like, having guys who have, you know, seen it all, done it all, you know, been contributors at a high level to this Kansas team coming back.

Like, just talk about how important those two guys are.

Stock is up on the WWE because Christian Watson makes his triumphant return after leaving in an ambulance.

He comes back.

Two Lambeau Field shades of Paul Pierce or the Undertaker, am I right? In an ambulance and goes back and plays the rest of the game.

The full Paul Pierce.

But what the Packers did was conservative and quick and good.

And, you know, someone else said to me, this is Paul Pierce.

No, this is not Paul Pierce.

Let me tell you why.

Christian Watson didn't want to leave the game.

The doctor said, I'm not letting you return until you get this CT scan.

Christian Watson says, okay, I guess I'll go to the ambulance.

Let's hurry up and go get one, right? The doctor did not insist on Paul Pierce being carried off.
