John McGuirkHostSarah RyanHostYeah, I mean, look, it's a story that if you break it down, there's multiple reasons why it's not just the obvious stuff like housing.
But ultimately, I think what's happened is that Ireland is just is not a great place to be a person in your early teens, early twenties anymore.
And Irish young people seem to be saying that they don't really see a future for themselves here.
I think that's a massive indictment of government policy for the last probably 10 to 15 years.
And I think that there's answers that are obvious as to why this might be happening, but I don't think there's going to be any accountability for that.

But I mean, I don't think they're paying enough attention because Fianna Fáil, have a proposal in the budget, they're going to give 100 euros to every 16-year-old in the country so long as they spend it on a ticket to a gig or a concert.

So why on earth would you emigrate when the government is giving you like 100 quid to go to a free concert? People are ungrateful.
I don't think anybody put two and two together and said, let's give them 100 euro to make up for the catastrophe that we've made of the country in terms of for young people.
But this is I mean, a 68 percent of people are saying they don't want to live here and they don't see their life here.
