468: Resident Evil (2026)

Every single week I scour the internet to find out what is going on in the entertainment world.

I pick three topics for us to discuss and we must decide, do we care or not? on boy that felt good yeah it's been a while it's good to be back yeah we are so back yeah

put the word out we're back

yes and we don't care about any of these three topics so we're just gonna skip right through them all skip them all number one amc has greenlit a tv series that will be an adaptation of point break do we care yeah

actually i think so what about you nick

I like Point Break, but I I've been kind of getting off of TV series lately, especially adaptations of things like I'm not even really looking forward to the Harry Potter one coming out.

But if it's good, I will watch it.

You just got to recommend it to me.

I think there's something about that movie that is, if they capture it, if they capture the energy of that movie and especially the bromance of that movie and all that stuff, I think it could be really, really good.

Yeah, that's the thing that makes Point Break so good.

It's not the detective side of things.

It's Patrick Swayze and Keanu Reeves just really liking each other, and it just breaks your heart whenever you find out that it's him.

Spoilers for a movie that came out in the 90s, you know? But it's heartbreaking.

It's funny.

There's great action.

I hope that they can capture all that into this TV show, and if they do, it will be really good.

Spoilers.

Just had to throw

that

in there.

I have one thing to say about it.

I think as long as somebody points their gun up in the air, fires it, and yells, ah, then I think it'll be all right.

No, I have not fired my gun up in the air and gone, ah.

So

good.
