Nintendo is pulling out all the stops to celebrate a milestone anniversary for one of gaming's most beloved franchises.

In a celebration of 40 years of The Legend of Zelda, Nintendo announced a year-long global tribute to the legendary adventure series.

The problem with the movie franchise, it's kind of not part of the video game.

But Zack Kreger of weapons fame is looking to change that.

The video features the film star Austin Abrams as Brian.

This trailer, people, is nuts.

It is depicting what it seems to be like a bunch of zombies jumping off the roofs of buildings, trying to land on top of the main character.

that's it.

Or it starts out with, hey, Austin Abrams character, we're going to have a S.T.A.R.S. helicopter unit come fly you over to your target.

And then as the helicopter's coming, you just see Jill, Chris Redfield, Lee Kennedy just hanging out the helicopter and it crashes into the side of a mountain.

Like, you know that sequence in Deadpool 2 when, like, they do this whole X-Force thing? And it's like, oh, my God.

OK.

But just focusing on the Austin Abrams is the actor.

And of course, so good in weapons, so good in so many things.

Do Revenge was really where he does an amazing Timothee Chalamet impression.

But at the same time, come on, dude.

Talking about some of this footage, though, it seems like we know what Austin Abrams' career character is carrying around, which was a really hard sentence for me to say.

I can't believe I didn't stumble through it.

He seems to have some sort of mutant zombie baby in there because he's getting into this room that has all of these disgusting orbs and bloody pods and like an infirmary.

Speaking of which, we got to see an all new sequence in Raccoon City where it's snowing, which is, of course, as many fans have pointed out, not what Raccoon City looks like when the whole, you know, umbrella situation happens in 1998.

But we got to see the entire sequence of all the bodies falling down from atop the buildings trying to basically ****.

all over Austin Abrams, which is crazy to me.

It's a very unique sequence too, because I feel like most scenes like this, if we're thinking about something like World War Z, it's just a bunch of zombies chasing somebody down like a road with a bunch of broken down cars and shit.

We're not doing a video game adaptation.

This is the experience of Austin Abrams' character

Listen, you're talking about the different types of blood depending on the surface and the camera and the lighting.

I'm like, okay, this guy's really into it.

I'm there.

Let's just make Austin Abrams a star.

How about that? Yeah.

You know, he showed up in character to his meeting.

Um, yeah.

Um, Austin Abrams in this one, Paul Walter Hauser as well, and we'll have more on those movies next week.
