What was that sound in the other room? Who is gathering in the Kitchen? Wait, whose body is it we found again? And what the hell is up with the butler? Answer these questions and you'll... well…
yes exactly um all right let's talk about what we're gonna talk about today which is the incident at galley house which is a game by evil trout uh which we we've covered an evil trout game on here before we played uh the root trees are dead uh evil trout remade this game along with the designer of the original which is called type help the designer's name is william rouse i think rouse or ruse r-o-u-s which was a game out last year, which was a text-based game that covers most of the same material.
We'll talk a little bit later about what it doesn't cover and about how it's a different experience despite being the same kind of core design and the same mystery and
I will say we are going to do our best in this first segment to not spoil this game.
I will tell you that when someone told me to play Type Help, the thing they said was just go play this game.
I think I'm in a place where I would say if you like database mysteries, if you like the sort of games like Root Trees Are Dead or the San Barlow and oh my God, why am I blanking on the name of the publisher? Half Mermaid? Half Mermaid.
But any of those sorts of games, the sort of like piecing together a mystery, if you like Obra Dinn, I think this is in that class.
I think this is worth playing if you like those games without us saying another word.
And specifically, it's one of those kinds of games where the puzzle isn't what the characters are doing.
