RPG Cast – Episode 823: “Toada”

My cow has killed a dragon.

But you, what did you do, Sir Frog? So,

I came back from a camping trip.

And then I booted up the PlayStation 5 again.

And I was like, okay, now I'm finally going to finish Unicorn Overlord.

And I did finish Unicorn Overlord.

So, that's...

I really enjoy Unicorn Overlord.

I was actually trying not to finish the game for the longest time, like doing extra side quests, and then the game said, there are no side quests anymore.

I was like, oh, please, one more.

yeah I really enjoy it I really like it I said it on Discord that it reminded me with a lot of things there are a lot of things that remind me of like old Fire Emblem and I know it's more like an ogre battle, but there are a lot of things that really reminded me of old Fire Emblem games.

For example, when you start the game, you, as a lordling, have another character with you, which is a level 20 paladin.

This is very much a trope out of Fire Emblem.

You would always get a grizzled old paladin with you that you would never use in a battle.

Well, you shouldn't use in a battle because that's just wasting your experience.

But they did the same thing.

But instead of having it as a wasteless experience...

Because you can make your own battalions.

So you can have multiple characters in one battalion.

So you have three characters in one battalion.

And then you have another battalion with a few characters.

So you have your level 20 paladin there.

He won't get any experience, but the other people that are in that battalion would get experience.

So you have already a good tank to have, especially with a paladin.

So it was very nice.
