And at the Kagan's dinner, Hussar and Argun ambush him.
Ambush him.
Ambush.
Ambush him.
With news that Aelin Galathinius torched a fleet at Skull's Bay and may be burning her way towards Elwy.
Hazar dares him to swear on Yorin's life that Aelin wouldn't go full conqueror, and he can't because he's seen her gut people for less.

i am annoyed that kale continues to reference back to when alin killed what's his name the courtesan
i
agree
what's his name i'm not thinking
little what's his name down in the basement and the second book

Yeah.
I think if I'm giving Kale the benefit of the doubt, which, like, to be fair to him, we, like, don't even need to do because he is... gotten enough benefit of enough doubts um i think if i'm giving him the benefit of the doubt i think it's just because he saw like that rage in her eyes that was surprising to him because he didn't know alen yet he only knew selena and so i think he's he is like it's not necessarily that he has seen her murder somebody in cold blood.
It's that he's seen her pull out a side that he hasn't seen before.
And so I think he's more afraid that she has another side that he hasn't seen before.
You know, I also, I don't think I would swear on your Rean's life that Alan's not going to go conqueror later in the section.
