And it was easier to, to keep track of where they're all at in their, in their learning and to know how to cater to their needs.

And so, you know, kind of as a corollary with that, we asked teachers, you know, what kind of tools do you use for online learning, both before the pandemic, during the pandemic, and what do you maybe plan to use afterwards? And the tools that were used the most were learning management systems like Canvas or Schoology or Google Classroom, and video like, you know, Zoom or Microsoft Teams or Google Meet.

But in a smaller subset of teachers, roughly, you know, thirty to forty percent, they said they were using tools for creating their own online lesson materials or for video recording their lessons and posting those online.

And we saw when we looked at the comparison between who was using those tools before the pandemic and who planned to use those after the pandemic, we saw the biggest jump in adoption in those areas, which I think corresponds to those teachers, the teachers that had figured out how to flip their classroom, kind of change the instructional model to make it work better in an online setting.

So, yeah, very excited to delve into this and to ask her loads of questions tonight.

I have got GarageBand recording, which is what I normally use, but I've also got a Google Meet recording so that I can get the audio and a transcript and I've also got Loom recording so that I can get a transcript because as i said like i'm just trying to cover all bases here i went to start recording the podcast and the shire people turned up and they've decided that they're going to do some landscaping i.e sawing down trees in the reserve that's like right opposite my house so there's been random sporadic chainsawing going on so yeah i thought i wasn't quite sure if my yeti microphone was gonna be able to block out the background sound or not so i thought i'll just do a backup with a loom i don't know if loom picks up the background sound or not and then just to be doubly sure i know google meet doesn't so hopefully we're gonna be okay So how are you? I think that people in corporate America are used to every meeting being recorded now if it's online, because you'll see nine different assistants join every Zoom and Google Meet, and it's insane.

All these different AI tools that are listening to every meeting and summarizing it.

It's a real time authentication where you're using your face to authenticate yourself to your bank or to create a bank account.
