My very, very, very first deck in Legacy was Gifts Survival Rock.

But sometimes it seems that the unknown can play a larger part in these cases.

Stories of UFOs, the Fae, Bigfoot or other cryptids, portals, translucent entities, etc.

But is it possible that the ghost of a missing woman may be trying to help solve her disappearance or at least help locate her remains? We ask that you keep an open mind and consider the following case.

Bigfoot, portals, aliens, supernatural things, the Fae.

I don't know.

as though it wasn't such a random or chance encounter at all there's always either an unusually clouded or unusually vivid memory of the experience and you can also start to feel as though this particular sighting or event happened at a very specific time in your life as if it were fate somehow with the fey encounter somehow marking a turning point in your life a crossroads A new beginning.

And perhaps these stories were made up by the Fae themselves in order to cause those who hunt them to think them more harmless and unassuming.

This reconciliation being that we do not have to toss these old legends aside completely and come to know the Fae in a different light.

Perhaps they'll become even more enchanting to us, even as we become more aware of the danger associated with and all around them.

Now let's talk about the missing and the fey folk.

Remember, pixies are said to be changelings.

Instead of working with another bigger creature, could they be the very thing? Do they play a sick form of manhunt or tag with each other using the humans? Some wonder if the infamous flannel man is in fact just a shape-shifting pixie.

Throughout the past two videos, we've learned so much about the Fae and yet we still haven't even scratched the surface.

bring some average Joes into this Fae court and have to entertain some evil, powerful fairies or maybe, you know, get polymorphed or whatever.

It's kind of like if you're a woodworker, it's working with the grain of the wood, not against it.

When we look at the threads of fate itself, which is a metaphor, of course, When we start to have the fey-like disposition, F-E-Y or F-A-E, the kind of magically inclined lens that we overlay into our decisions, we start to see different opportunities come about.

We have different ways of relating to things.

to circumstance, to necessity, to optionality, to relationality.

And I think to be fair, you and I have both read quite a bit about Fae in general.

So coming to this, we have sort of a little bit of a experience with this.

So instantly we're like, oh, Yes, absolutely.

I really like this one, first off.

I think the fundamental concept behind it of this Zolkir, if you know about Fae, that's what the ruling wizard class is called.

And this idea of a...

But if you only ever see that strangeness and not the doom of death itself, you eventually think that's what the word meant.

The second thing, though, is that there is a very similar word sitting next to it, fey, F-A-Y, as opposed to the F-E-Y, fey, we've been talking about.

F-A-Y, that means a fairy, and it comes to us from Old French, and it has nothing to do with fēah, F-E-A-H, at all.

Two words, a single letter apart, one about death and one about fairies, which kinda puts it right alongside last week's word doom from Old English dóm, a judgment handed down.
