81: Putting Down the Rhinestones

Oh, goodness.

Kathy, today I wanted to talk to you about the Robot Olympics in China.

But they just finished and they're still figuring out who...

You know what I mean? What broke what record? The 100 sprint versus like what is.

And it's very cool.

And I'm very excited.

I did see two different things came up in my algorithm about this.

One was the dash thing.

The 100 meter dash, I think.

And the way they looked so funny, those little robots with their little legs going so fast.

And somebody made a comment about how, look, you know, they're going so fast.

They're beating records like crazy.

It's going to make such a difference in transportation.

And somebody goes, can I interest you in the information about cars? It's

like, what is this purpose? And then another one was the weightlifting robot.

Oh, incredible.

It was so good because it's like lifting and it's like, yeah, you can just see it's winning and then it stumbles forward and like drops it.

And I was like, it can't even what what is going on here? Why? Why is

this a thing? There are, okay, there are many reasons it's a thing.

And there are many different motivations behind the people who create these humanoid robots.

Not as evil as you'd think, actually.

But
