Resident Evil: Requiem and Grace's Horror4:50 – 18:07

A

4:50

[dramatic music] Genuinely as excited as I have been to review a game in a long fucking time, my friends.

A

5:34

I don't think I've kept my thoughts on this a secret.

A

5:37

I spoiled it a little bit during the intro.

A

5:38

It is what it is.

A

5:39

My friends, this game is immaculate.

A

5:41

Immaculate.

A

5:42

The third game curse of the Resident Evil franchise is, is officially broken.

A

5:46

So I've talked about that before.

A

5:48

In the original trilogy, I love Res Evil 1 and 2.

A

5:50

I don't particularly like Resident Evil 3 very much.

A

5:53

In the second trilogy, I love Res Evil 4.

A

5:55

I quite like Res Evil 5.

A

5:57

Never cared for Resident Evil 6.

A

5:58

So I was really nervous that after Res Evil 7 being as good as it was and Rev Evil, Res Evil 8...

A

6:03

I should say Res Evil 7 being as great as it was and Res Evil 7...

A

6:07

Fuck.

A

6:07

Res Evil 7 is very, very good.

A

6:09

Res Evil 8 is very good.

A

6:10

I was worried that Res Evil 9 would be kind of the letdown again.

A

6:13

Nay, nay.

A

6:14

It is not, it is spectacular.

A

6:17

Really, this review boils down to me talking about here's everything that's right about it and can I bring myself to give it one of my incredibly rare perfect scores, and you're gonna have to listen to find out.

A

6:27

So, uh, spoiler-free portion up front, spoiler cast is in the back.

A

6:31

I will play music and warn you hundred times before we get to spoilers, so if you're on the fence, don't worry.

A

6:35

You're good to listen for the next, I don't know, 25, 30 minutes probably.
