**This Week on Pure Dead Gaming** We chat through the games we’ve played, revisit an old trailer and look ahead to what’s dropping next week. We also discuss GTA 6’s map and dynamic weather…
Well, I mean, what have you been playing?
Well, can I get my gripes out the way, first of all?
Gripes water.
I can't think what they would be, so yes, I'll stop you if I feel offended.
Two games to talk about, and I spoke about them both last week.
So the first one is Rivage, Rivage, whatever we're calling it, which is the kind of first-person sci-fi puzzle game.
You're on the space station, your crew's all disappeared, you don't know what the fuck's going on.
And then you've got these puzzles to try and obviously figure it out.
I said last week, like the puzzles become increasingly more absurd.
And initially I did play it pre launch.
So I didn't have a guide or anything like that.
And I'd get a little bit stuck and then subsequently used a guide.
And I'm now at the point where I'm like, I can't play this if I don't have a guide because it's so bizarre.
I'm like, this doesn't make any sense now.
And yeah, i'm still finding it even though i've got this guide i'm like
but you did say that it's one of these games and it's clever that they do it don't get me wrong but it's like bespoke puzzles so like see if you look up a guide the answer to the puzzle on the guide might not be the same as yours the the way to get the answer will be the same but it won't just be or put in the code 1408 or whatever do you know what i mean it's like you've got to go and try and get that I
think that's what's frustrating about it, partly.
But then there was, like, I don't know, for example, there was one and it was, like, coding.
And there was, like, some of the coding that was, like, broken or, like, kind of ripped so you couldn't see the full, like, text.
But there was, like, a code to it.
So the letter A was number 35 or something obscure.
Number B was 36 or whatever.
And so... you had to match it up and figure it out which wasn't it's not too difficult a puzzle in itself but it's the fact that there was like maybe 15 to 20 that you had to do and see when you're doing it on an xbox controller like you're like up and down on the joystick to get to the right so it's time are you
blaming a specific platform controller there
Any controller.
