State of Leonida

On November 19th, we will be adding an official printable GTA 6 cover art poster.

And map of Leonida as a free digital download to the official site.

A double-sided physical version of this poster will also be made available shortly after launch from the Rockstar store for 99 cents on its own or as a free gift with any purchase from the Rockstar store.

So, hey, you know what I mean? Could be better, could be worse.

Coming November 19, 2036, Grand Theft Auto 6.

Rockstar's next entry takes us back to Vice City, this time within the fictional state of Leonida with duo protagonists Jason and Lucia.

Hold on.

That's how I am with

You're probably here for some of the other stuff too, but it would be a two, three hour long episode.

So we're just going to pull out some key facts, starting with Leonida's map opens up relatively early, allowing players to head north and explore without having to follow the story.

Rockstar has deliberately accommodated those who prefer discovering places to completing a succession of missions.

Interesting fact number one.

That's my speculation, not what the article says.

This is just an example of how these things can play out.

Confirmation now of some more systems, Phil Hooker confirms that the game has a fully functioning bus and train system, saying he now spends much of his time waiting for buses, checking that they arrive when expected and riding them across Leonida.

Functioning bus and train system.

I would suspect that those are drugs.

And then it's up to Brian and his team to redistribute those drugs over Leonida using Brian's planes and boats, et cetera.

That is Cargo Drop in a nutshell.

How did Jason get here? Well, we will explain that in the game after we meet Lucia, I think.

So that, look, initial introduction done, tutorial done, now we meet Lucia.

Yeah.

Now, we might learn how she got here later, but right now I think she's in Leonida Department of Corrections-

Yeah

Quote, Vice City USA and quote, the trailer official description reads, quote, Jason and Lucia have always known the deck is stacked against them.

But when an easy score goes wrong, they find themselves on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America, in the middle of a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida, forced to rely on each other more than ever if they want to make it out alive.

End quote.

End quote.

I'm glad it wasn't what I thought.

Leonida Keys crossbody bag.

No idea.

New Era 940 snapback hat.

Wow.

Vice City razor blade keychain.

Leonida Keys enamel pin set in metal tin.

Leonida Keys sticker pack in stash bag.

Basically it's trailer three, and this one is much more about story, tone, and atmosphere, and then showing off a bunch of new gameplay systems and features.

It's about 90 seconds for those of you who haven't seen it, and focuses heavily on Jason and Lucia, Leonida's criminal world, cars, nightlife, and just the overall vibe.

And they talked a little bit about the music, and the music's fantastic.

So online reaction seems mostly really positive.
