And at the time, I think I had, like, Point Pleasant on the air.

And I was obsessed with prison for no logical reason.

But I do think it was, like, when I was a kid, for anybody that was in New York, I think it was, like, WPIX, would have a nighttime soap opera on that was from Australia called Cell Block H. Oh,

I remember it.

And it was an all-female kind of, like, Switchblade sisters-y.

Like, sometimes they had, like, go-go boots on, and, you know, I was probably, like, 10.

Yeah, right.

And, you know, I was, you know, a latchkey, unwatched child of the 80s, and so I would watch it until I'd heard that Fox... may have their rights to it.

And so I talked to everyone, and it turned out the rights were sitting in the late-night department because it was a five-episode a night.

It was, like, Monday through Friday.

kind of thing.

So I had some meetings with the late night department and I was like, I think you have the rights to cell block H.

And they were like, we do? Anyway, so I was really excited that maybe I could adapt that.

I was in a deal with 20th, which at the time was all together with Fox.

They were still owned by Fox.
