Re-Read: Is Your Idea Worth A Book - And A Book Deal??

Okay.

I'm kind of in a different place, but we're both writing.

We're both working on a new thing.

You know, last week I went on about how stressed I was about gearing up for the fall.

And I did a pretty good job of, ironically, clearing the deck the last few weeks.

You know, Young World is off to the art printer.

It's about 98.5% done.

Am I on the list? Yeah.

Obviously, you'll get the first one.

I'll hold it up here.

The only difference is I'm curious about your thought on this, which is the cover of the book, like we've talked about, is inventing this sort of Pantone mix color that doesn't exist.

We can't do it for the ARC because it's so expensive.

It's only going to be on the hardcover.

So the ARC is actually just going to look like a normal color.

So I'm just like, I'm nervous of whether people are going to be like, Oh, this is what it looks like, but it doesn't like the inside will look exactly right.

Well,

no, I think there are plenty of arcs that come in and out.

It's almost like a sales pitch part of the marketing where it's like, this isn't the finished and they have a special and by special, I mean, very, very plain art cover.

Yes.

And it almost makes it look like they're more in the secret society who gets the arcs.

Like, oh, you're an industry person.

You get the industry arc versus the big shiny arc.

So we'll see.

And I'll hold it up and show it off once it comes in, hopefully in the next few weeks.

So Coach Alpha is ready to go for the St. Louis workshop in September.
