Tyler Reddick

Sunoco, the official fuel of NASCAR.

Early season favorite Tyler Reddick ended a winless drought yesterday at the Phoenix Raceway in Arizona, winning the Freeway Insurance 500.

While it was his sixth win of the NASCAR Cup Series season, it was his first since winning at Kansas in April.

The win came with a little pit strategy in the closing laps, taking two fresh tires during the race's final caution.

And it happened today.

And with the other circumstances that befell Larson, uh denny hamlin and christopher bell and joey logano and ryan blaney and tyler reddick this championship is over

well we're going to talk about that certainly but jordan everybody just in the in the aftermath of the race here um as we sit here on sunday night they want to talk about the yellow line call and they want to talk about whether they feel like uh you know the drivers ahead of larson laid over for him so let's tackle the yellow line call first now In NASCAR's judgment, we've asked this every which way here, they feel like, so if you have even one tire below the line, I initially tweeted out both tires had to be below.

If you have even one tire below the line, that means that would be out of bounds and that would be illegal.

And that means that you're going to have to beat Ryan Blaney and Joey Logano and William Byron, who are all very good at Martinsville.

And then you have to go to Homestead and contest with the five team who is really, really good there as well.

There are just, not to mention Tyler Reddick, who's really good at Homestead as well.

Like there's just a lot there.

Looking ahead, we only have two races left.

the NASCAR Cup Series this year and we are off to Martinsville where as it just discussed Kyle Larson has what feels like an insurmountable lead Kyle Larson is 73 points over danny hamlin third is christopher bell 74 points back 79 points back is chase briscoe in fourth joey legano fifth ryan blaney sixth tyler reddick seventh austin cendric eighth aust uh austin cendric eighth we'll say it again ty gibbs in ninth carson hosavar in 10th william byron 11th chase elliott in 12th bubble wallace in 13th daniel suarez mi amigo in 14th ryan priest in 15th and chris busher in 16th now i know all eyes are on the front of the field with larson only needing what i think they said a four point uh advantage over over denny to clinch the championship on sunday Anything can happen.

We know how good Denny is at Martinsville.

So anything can happen.

Making up for the no.

The other ones that got in the wreck were Denny Hamlin, Tyler Reddick, Ty Gibbs was already damaged in that race too.

Chase Elliott and Daniel Suarez were just some of the other ones.

Thank you, Mr.

But it's been a year of streaks.

Tyler Reddick starts just on fire.

You know, wins the first three races, just blast out.

Then Denny Hamlin gets hot.

But my advice is don't fall in love with one particular play.

Like Ryan Blaney, Austin Sindrick, Tyler Reddick, they're your chalk cash plays of the game.

They're great.

They're awesome at super speedways.

I'm a John Hunter Nemechek hater.

He's in play today, big time, as is Zane.

Tyler Reddick and Casey Mears.

Tyler Reddick is going to get tons of love today, as he should.

And 44 over Logano.

And since he's red hot, he's got 56 over Tyler Reddick.

Austin Sendrick's way too far back.

But, yeah, you're right.

Last week, we touched on it a little bit with Deb.

They ran the Freeway Insurance 500 at Phoenix.

And Tyler Reddick was the winner.

Second was Ryan Blaney.

He wants to be there.

And I know Tyler Reddick's won a few times this year.

And when he won, Jordan was there, like, team owner.

Like, his car crossed into victory lane.
