Ep 11: Texans Finally Win… But the White Sox Broke Me

The Texans finally in the win column.

They pick up a victory against the really, really bad Titans, 26 to three up in Nashville.

You think we have issues here in Houston with our NFL team, look at that franchise up in Nashville.

My God.

They don't have a quarterback.

Cam Ward is not good, just not a good player.

He was drafted first overall.

So your franchise really takes a hit when you draft a guy number one overall at the quarterback position and he's not good.

That's what the Titans are dealing with with Cam Ward.

Yeah, they're getting a new stadium, but the Titans have nothing good to look forward to.

They have a new coach.

Sure, Robert Saleh's a good coach, but again, that, that, that job right there is a really hard one to take on knowing what you have at quarterback.

Cam Ward is not good.

The Texans did what they had to do.

They went into Nashville, took care of business, crushed a really bad football team, and now the Texans are one win into what is hopefully a pretty good winning streak here.

'Cause as we've talked about before, the Texans' schedule kind of clears out for them a little bit.

Now they have Jacksonville on the road in London.

Anything can happen in these international games.

Then the Giants back here at home, then the Chargers and the Browns.

So yeah, things start to clean up here for the Texans.

If they're able to beat the Jacksonville Jaguars, then they can get on a nice little winning streak, get back into contention, and who knows what will happen.

I have not written them off yet.

This is not your average O and four team.

Look, we saw the discrepancy on the field on Sunday between two O and four teams.

One has talent, the other does not have talent, and look, we saw it come to fruition as the Texans took care of business.
