Gordo, Sammy, and Pat aren't in pure panic yet after two losses from the Red Sox in Texas, but are concerned it could get to that level. What would have to go wrong for things to reach full panic?…
And I've said this before in this season for different sectors of this bizarre campaign that the Red Sox have been on.
But in my head, I'm like, okay, I don't want to freak out.
I'm not an idiot.
I know these games don't really matter.

I have a few concerns about individual guys or individual parts of the team, but about the Red Sox in general, I'm not worried yet because, But I feel like I'm not too far off from being like, okay, this is not a good way to enter the playoffs.
It's not like they've lost 8 out of 10 or something where it's like, holy crap, they are ice cold.
They're winning here and there.
They're not going on these long losing streaks.
But they just don't feel like they're a well-oiled machine right now.
It doesn't feel like the...
The defense is protecting the pitching, which is setting up the hitting to score runs and the guys hitting one and two are getting on base for the guys to try.
It just doesn't feel like anything is working the way it's supposed to.
But at the same time, I don't want to complain.
We're talking about they're not playing well, and we're talking about these games like, do we even care that they're not playing well? So when I take a step back, things seem much less dire.
They're still in the same spot.
Last episode when we spoke, when I said, like, I'm not worried.
This is a luxury.
I still believe those things.
