Connor Brew: Judging at South Plains and TTU; Coaching at SPC

Kind of a long-winded backstory, but again, it's kind of a fun one to me because, again, I love this industry because I do believe you could be a kid that was dead last at your county fair or a kid that won every major, and you could still be a part of the industry and work with each other.

And that's why I try to do the same as a coach.

But the people around Lubbock, the livestock people and the success of all industries in Lubbock, it was amazing.

And that's why I tell kids, if you come here and judge, I want you to be a really good judge, but I want you to make some really good connections.

He would be the first to tell you our organization of planning workouts and stopping for food was very off.

We were lucky if, you know, he judged for Jake Frankie at A&M.

He would tell us all the time, you know, you guys are pretty soft.

You just slipped two classes.

Frankie wouldn't let us eat lunch, so we're not eating lunch.

and understanding that.

So if you're from anywhere, I'd love to get in touch and talk about your kids coming to judge here.

Cause we've got a great mixture of academics, great mixture of work and production, and then a great mix of judging.
