Brangus, the people who wrote this self-promotional drivel passed the cultural interview? The statement should have read, Oh yeah, Jacob's a hero.

In the real late 80s, early 90s.

A friend of mine, Mike Self, had some Brangus cows that he and I did a lot of equipment deals together.

And I bought some cows off him, and then I bought those black lemmy bulls off of Grant.

I used Grant's advice what bulls I should put on.

Great calves, grew out good and everything, but I just, being around my neighbors and people I knew, Angus cattle, they seemed to be a little slower than my Brangus cows, and they seemed to breed back faster, and those seemed to prolapse more.

And I'm not knocking anybody's Brangus cattle.

But late 20s, early 30s, when I finished residency...

My senior partner in our practice had a Brangus cattle ranch, and as he started to approach retirement, wanted me to buy the ranch from him and cattle, and it was a perfect opportunity to get back into horses.

So never thought I would sit in a saddle that didn't have a horn on it, but once I got on an English saddle, realized how comfortable they are and how much fun you can have riding English, following hounds.

Never really looked back after that.

elite heifer, haltered heifer sale in conjunction with the Dixie National in Jackson, Mississippi.

Yeah, because I'm thinking of Bradley 3, who does a good job, but their cattle are a lot different than ours.

And I hadn't thought about that, of being, like you said, the mouthpiece for their program, which is going to be different than ours.

And then you go to a Brangus place that's going to be...

Totally different.

The bull calves were a little softer, I thought, far as compared to last week.

But in that old heifer market, um, any replacement type Brangus, black baldies, red baldie heifers, replacement type heifers, they sure are strong.

So market's still good.

It's still selling good.
