My 2026 NBA Player Rankings: Did I Get These 5 Wrong?

So, let's get into it.

At number 20 on my list, Scottie Barnes from the Toronto Raptors.

Average over 18 points a game, seven rebounds, almost six assists a game, a block and a half a game.

He's played over 80 games, All NBA Defense, you know, top 10 in Defensive Player of the Year.

So just a r- has a really, really just come o- his offensive game's getting better.

Shot the three ball better than he did, you know, last, the previous year or so.

Just, he, he's just a really good player, man.

And I, and I know some of the stats may show, and some people might think he's too high on my list, but that's why it's my list, once again.

But he's still a tremendous all-around two-way player, one of the better two-way players in the league, and is just getting better and better.

And very interested to see how he works with Kawhi Leonard now.

See how that dynamic works with the long, you know, Toronto, they love their long wings.

We'll see how that works.

Kawhi's, for the most part, has been good with working with wings.

He's done it in the past, you know, bunch of time, obviously, with the Clippers for all those years with, with Paul George.

Didn't lead to success, but the Clippers are the Clippers at the end of the day.

And so we'll see if he can recreate that magic he had with the Raptors in 2019 when they won the NBA championship.

But Scottie Barnes is gonna come in at number 20 on my list.

He's one of the better two-way players, like I mentioned, in the NBA, and he keeps getting better and better.

Offense is getting better.

Played in a career, uh, 80 games too, so durability, was very durable this season.

Just missing two games is, that's impressive.

You know, in, in today's NBA with the load management.

Uh, so we'll see how he works with Kawhi, see if the score may have tick in scoring.

But Scottie Barnes comes in at number 20 on my list of the top 25 players heading into the '26, '27 NBA season.
