I sat down with Johanna and Lexi to talk about Love Canal, the environmental fight in Niagara Falls, and the history that still shapes this city today. Lexi is a close friend. Johanna—her mother-in-law—has been one of my favorite “online trolls.” 😂 She hasn’t always been a fan of mine, but I like her, and I think we’re getting along better! And that’s exactly why I enjoyed this conversation. We don’t have to agree about everything to sit down, laugh, argue a little, listen to each other and actually have a good conversation.
