They will do something, as this morning Mark Stein reported, that they are a leading suitor for Marcus Sasser of the Detroit Pistons.

It's not official yet, but Mark Stein later in the day said that it most likely will happen.

Uh, I mean, even Messiah and his intro press conference kind of talked about how free agency is dead.

And these last few free agencies, just as basketball fans, we've kind of understood that it's not going to be the same as it was like, let's say peak 2014 to 2019 era of NBA fandom.

So I kind of understood that, but to still, even just as a basketball fan to see like the low amount of free agency activity from players switching to new teams or even bigger names, um, It's a little discouraging.

And then for the Mavericks, like not being tied to any free agent names, it's not the most surprising thing in the world.

I mean, we've talked about it over text, like as much as I like, it'd be cool to get like an MLE guard, like a Colin Sexton, Anthony Simons or Quentin Grimes.

all three of those guys have red flags to me just because they've been on so many teams in such few amount of years to where like, I don't know if like if they're hitting for agency, I don't know if they're as good as maybe it's going to be built out to be.

And you can get kind of screwed with signing any of them to a four, four, four year for a $60 million contract and then not going well.

I probably have a stronger opinion on Sergio de la Ria than Marcus, Marcus Sasser at this point.
