Now, I know the Pistons have some mechanisms and some things that they could go after and, you know, Like there's guys who are, you know, like, like pretty good, like, like, like pretty good productivity for their overall value.

They could go out and get, you know, like Daniel Gafford, someone that would be like intriguing as far as like a stopgap option.

Like there's options out there.

It's just, I think your best shot to get a good big in return is if you're giving up another, you know what I mean? So I think that the, the odds of that deal, you know, materializing in a way that actually makes them better.

They went with Morris Johnson at number nine.

They extended Najee Marshall, PJ Washington, Gafford.

These guys are in their extensions.

Like this is kind of the core as it is.

So, yeah, they definitely got interesting pieces.

Yeah, definitely a big team.

That's the one, that's the name that's the most popular.

The name that I think is the most intriguing to me personally, but may be difficult because he's on the Western Conference, would be Daniel Gafford.

A couple years ago, Daniel Gafford went from the Ma- went from the Wizards to the Mavs, and really helped, alongside Derek Lively, elevate Luka and the Mavs to a finals team.

And I think that he could be a player who's not overly paid, he's worth his contract in my opinion, and he can help play with energy and rebound.

He's not quite the rim protector that I like, considering how much rim protection really matters in the NBA right now, but it's worth a look.

Uh, Daniel Gafford, three-year, $55 million deal with the Mavs.

He's under contract till the 2029 season.

And I, I think these are the four guys that appear the most likely to be dealt.

Look, I'm not going to sit here and hold out hope that the Lakers are secretly targeting P.J. Washington or... you know, I certainly, I don't think Daniel Gafford is an actual target, even though earlier in the summer, even after we got Kessler, for some reason, his name was still flying around, but like, you know, a quality backup center and a decent enough for even like a Jalen Smith, who's not like a, you know, name brand and, you know, stuff like that, but like solid, certainly better than, you know, some of the options we have maybe more proven than the options we have in some ways.

Um, I would be pretty underwhelmed if we do nothing and we just get to camp and it's like, ah, they just decided there were no takers.

So they traded Dalton and a second, um, to go down to a minimum contract and that gets them under the luxury tax.

He's better than Poeltl.

And then after that it's Gafford, Aldama- Yeah ...

Mitchell Robinson, Onyeka Okongwu.

Um, although he signed.

He gets a lot of rebounds, both defensive boards and offensive boards.

Mm-hmm.

You know, the, a big difference between Lively and Gafford, one big difference is Gafford is an excellent offensive rebounder.

Lively's just kind of.

Cooper Flagg, P.J. Washington, Santi Aldama, Najee Marshall, Zachary Reza Shea.

And then Morris Johnson, and then Derek Lively, Daniel Gafford, and Moussa Cisse.
