Phil MayerGuestSo let's get into the draft.
The Mavericks are obviously gonna be picking ninth in this draft, barring a trade either up or down.
I don't foresee a trade up just with how deep the top 10 is.
But w- what is your ranking for the top 11? What's your big board? I mean, obviously the top four prospects we know, Daaron Pierson, AJ Dybantsa, Cam Boozer, and Caleb Wilson.
Um, maybe we don't need to spend a ton of time on that, but who's your number one right now? Let's, let's start with that.

My number one right now is AJ Dybantsa, and it's been kind of interesting, uh, watching college basketball and following these four guys because it's just, it's such a great draft.

And all four of them, I would even-- I know that maybe there's a big three and then Caleb Wilson.

All four of them, I would listen to an argument for being, you know, the number one on the big board or the top pick.

Um, the role he took on at BYU, having to do so much and just being able to get to his spots and, and make shots, um, and then a bit of skill as a playmaker, great size.

Could he operate off the ball as well? But what people say about him is, you know, he wants to win however that may be.
Whoa

I mean, obviously it's been well documented with the cramping and the health stuff, and the high school tape is great.

But just watching his college tape, he didn't quite look on the same level as the other three.

But with that being said, he could absolutely, you know, stop taking creatine and get healthy and-
[laughs]

... and get right back to the guy who looks like Kobe Bryant or whatever everyone wanted to call him too.
