Josh LloydHOST
8:41
We didn't really think there would be.
Josh LloydHOST
8:42
But we saw last game, the Kingston Flemings closed over CJ McCollum.
Josh LloydHOST
8:45
So what did CJ do here? Yeah.
Josh LloydHOST
8:47
Well, he actually played more minutes, 31 of them.
Josh LloydHOST
9:05
A 10, it is pretty borderline.
Josh LloydHOST
9:08
12 I would hold, though.
Josh LloydHOST
9:10
That will make us then check Kingston Flemings, who was, what, scored 20 last game, and he had two points in 16 minutes.
Josh LloydHOST
9:15
Okay, back to the drawing board a little bit.
Tim DanielHOST
16:44
And...
Tim DanielHOST
16:45
You mentioned he gets Kingston Flemings to fall for his typical thing, but probably could have got another one earlier in the game where they didn't call a shooting foul.
Tim DanielHOST
16:56
Not here to complain, but just kind of talking about, just kind of emphasizing for people who are like, this is a bad loss.
Tim DanielHOST
17:01
It's not a bad loss.
DeShaun TateHOST
10:14
That's something that I have to be OK living and dying with.
DeShaun TateHOST
10:18
But certainly, you know, Kingston Flemings has kind of been exceeding the knowledge of angles, in my opinion.
DeShaun TateHOST
10:25
And what a phenomenal game.
DeShaun TateHOST
10:29
You know, when you start talking about some of the different things that, you know, that the bench, right, has been able to do for this team.

DeShaun TateHOST
19:18
And then the last thing is, um, or second thing, rather second and last thing in order for this team to be successful is to continue getting the kind of contribution and production out of the bench that it has entering on tonight, 215 bench points, uh, had 34 of those on tonight.
DeShaun TateHOST
19:35
And, um, that second within the NBA only to Milwaukee.
DeShaun TateHOST
19:40
But I love the idea of being able to see, you know, Kingston Flemings, Lou Dort, how about the fantastic play by Aaron Wiggins, 20.7 rebounds, who I've gone above and beyond over the hills to you know say that he has been the most consistent player that we have seen so far granted a very small sample size but most consistent player that we've seen in hawks uniform thus far looked really good maybe not a ton of points and scoring from jock landale but 10 rebounds i'm interested to see if that's going to be the second rotation right Kingston Flemings, Lou Dort, Aaron Wiggins, Jock Landale.
DeShaun TateHOST
20:19
Who would you like to see as that fifth player? Just kind of curious to know from you guys.
Mike LukeHOST
23:43
Yeah.
Mike LukeHOST
23:44
Kelvin Sampson point guards feel like, like a Jamal shed or a Kingston Flemings, a big physical guy.
Mike LukeHOST
23:49
I mean, you know, like Kobe all feels talking about, you know, the guys will do the goal.
Mike LukeHOST
23:53
Once they pin you down, they could overwhelm you.
Greg MinicusHOST
32:39
And I was sitting there like jaw dropped.
Greg MinicusHOST
32:41
Kingston Flemings is making plays like guys kind of unsung guys like Rashir Fleming.
Greg MinicusHOST
32:47
I'm a fan of him.
Greg MinicusHOST
32:48
Like there's just so many dudes.
Tyler JonesGUEST
1:32
So that helped.
Tyler JonesGUEST
1:34
Kingston, second – very good game where I thought he was honestly their best on-ball creator, if we're honest.
Tyler JonesGUEST
1:44
Just the ease in which he's getting into the paint, shaking open three-point shooters.
Tyler JonesGUEST
1:50
It's a simple...
Tyler JonesGUEST
2:44
I thought, I thought Quinn really did everybody a disservice with what he was doing with CJ McCollum today.
Tyler JonesGUEST
2:53
Like no business closing, absolutely no business closing.
Tyler JonesGUEST
2:58
over either Wiggins or Kingston.
Tyler JonesGUEST
3:00
Like, and quite frankly, this is not, you know, this ain't a charity league.
Tim OglesHOST
16:04
And Atlanta ends up going on a 14-4 run.
Tim OglesHOST
16:08
to make it 35-30 with 5.30 left, and it felt like for Atlanta, after that three did fall for Jock, it just seemed like the second unit when they came in, whether that be Aaron Wiggins, Lou Dort, Kingston Flemings, you know, those guys really pushed the pace.
Tim OglesHOST
16:27
I thought Kingston Flemings was awesome in this game.
Tim OglesHOST
16:30
You know, if you look at the box score, it probably won't tell you that that much, but I thought that his drive and kick ability in this game was absolutely awesome
Mikey KobrinskyHOST
16:40
yeah the way the way that the hawks were able to pull down so many defensive rebounds in this game and run were key for this bench unit and aaron wiggins aaron wiggins caught fire it seems like we've been saying that for most of the podcasts early on in this season he's shooting the absolute cover off the ball right now and he had eight of atlanta's first 16 points in the second quarter two of those were triples and the hawks extended that 14 to 4 run to 21 to 6 and to tie the game after CJ gets a steal for an Inyeka Okonkwo layup.

7 MINS LATER

Mikey KobrinskyHOST
24:28
The Hawks center play was a huge, huge reason I thought why they won this game overall.
Mikey KobrinskyHOST
24:32
And they carried a 99 to 93 lead with 735 left in the final frame.
Mikey KobrinskyHOST
24:37
And last game, you know, last night we talked a lot about Tim, about Kingston Flemings closing the game over CJ McCollum.
Brice LewisHOST
5:06
I think the Hawks, it just wasn't good offense.
Brice LewisHOST
5:09
It felt like the Hawks were struggling to create quality looks, which is why I mentioned that Kingston's development will be very important in terms of maybe improving that as the season goes on.
Brice LewisHOST
5:21
But I felt like they struggled to get quality looks in this game.
Brice LewisHOST
5:24
And so it made the offense harder.
Brice LewisHOST
9:37
But from that perspective, C.J. was not really good in this game.
Brice LewisHOST
9:43
I would have ended the game with Aaron Wiggins to me.
Brice LewisHOST
9:46
Either you're going back to Kingston or you're going back to Aaron.
Brice LewisHOST
9:48
And I think CJ came back in at like the eight-minute mark.
Anthony DiNardoHOST
18:00
That is beautiful stuff from Giannis.
Anthony DiNardoHOST
18:02
On this next one, we got... kind of a pick and roll i mean not quite uh literally a great role by yannis though is what this is a great example of because yannis is really not a great screen setter you know i've been hearing that for years and now that i'm watching him on this heat team you can tell because on this first screen here, he's not gonna really make contact with Kingston Flemings, but then he's gonna go on the other side to try to set a screen here.
Anthony DiNardoHOST
18:28
But at this point, Davion has kind of a nice stutter here.
Anthony DiNardoHOST
18:31
You see his nice stutter step here, which kind of throws Kingston Fleming off his feet.
Adam KingHOST
4:20
So we're just kind of rostering who we're rostering.
Adam KingHOST
4:23
Kingston Flemings.
Adam KingHOST
4:27
Why can't I think of his name? Kyrian Sprecher and I, we did the Roto-Wire Q&A earlier today and got a lot of Kingston Fleming's questions.
Adam KingHOST
4:35
Are we adding him? He had 28 minutes yesterday.
