What was your reaction seeing the news of the Mavericks acquiring former number one overall pick Zachary Riesesche in a trade yesterday?

You know, what's really weird is when the tweet came through on their notifications, I honestly had a feeling that the Mavericks are going to be involved in some way with the trade.

Didn't think we were necessarily getting him, but I kind of thought we were getting someone out of this trade.

And lo and behold, we got Zachary Rissachet after months of dialogue on Mavs Twitter as to whether he was worth it in the Anthony Davis trade or whatnot.

And like you said, it looks like the Hawks have basically given up on him after two years.

But still, I mean, most draft experts during that draft had him as a top 5 to 10 type of player.

So still giving up on a guy really early into his career despite everything going on.

I think the 2027 Bulls second-round pick was more valuable to me than giving up Brian Nembhard.

And it's not even just because of the Summer League stuff with Brian Nembhard that I'm giving up on him completely.

Ryan really never got his jump shot kind of clicking to where it should be for a smaller guard that has to be proficient in that area to thrive in this league.
