He is still recovering from his right foot surgery, and he hasn't played a game since November 21st of last year, and only played seven games all of last season.

Dusty May recently spoke out on Lively and said, "I'll refer to the medical staff on that.

I know this, he's moving well." It's obviously a pretty big concern, as there was some hope that he would be available in tonight's game, but he's out, and this is gonna be a situation we have to monitor over the next few weeks.

He, of course, had surgery on his right knee back in March, and he hasn't played since.

But Dusty May did say that, "I don't think Santi will be ready, but he's getting very close," and he was even a partial participant in practice on Tuesday.

So he's closer than Derek Lively is, and ultimately, he's gonna be making his season debut very, very soon.

And quite frankly, folks, Santi Aldama is going to be a huge piece of this team going forward.

We've covered it on the channel throughout the year, but having him back in, that's gonna be very, very important, especially with a very interesting schedule to start the year.

I know a lot of you guys aren't too upset about that, but he's not gonna be available tonight.

That one is interesting, and I'm expecting a big year out of Tarik, so for him to miss opening night, it is very, very unfortunate.

We're gonna have to keep an eye out on him, as well as just today, we got some news that Jet Howard is now questionable with right calf tightness.

So there's a lot of injuries, but if there's one piece of information that is good, it's that the main guys are available.

He rested in the last preseason game, but Dusty May did say that he practiced in full on Tuesday.
