Peter WojcikHostMarcoHostThey are 20 years ahead of us in the de-Christianization of society, right? And the United States is not that far behind, right? And obviously there's a lot of statistics and everything's showing and it's a little bit up and there's uptick, uptick, uptick.
But the reality is the Holy Spirit awakened something after COVID.
And we saw the beginnings of a revival in 2021.
I don't know if anybody here, you know, Google Asbury revival that happened a couple of years ago.
And it was this movement of young people that just prayed and prayed and prayed and prayed and revival poured out.
And people from all over the world said this is the first one that's happening with this generation.
And what was amazing for us is that we realized as we go to these global gatherings, every other person that is serious about reaching people with the gospel today have had that same prayer for the last 15 years.
And I think that's what was eye-opening for us is we come into these things thinking, oh, we've kind of like done a lot in the Catholic context.
Like, guess what? There's people that have been on their knees for 50 years for this exact moment.
And it's on us to take that opportunity and do something with it, right? And I think what's cool having gotten to know some of these people is something happened in these individuals' lives and hearts that changed.
You and I were very different people six, seven years ago.
Something changed.
And many people in this audience were very different two, three, four, five, six years ago.
Something changed.
And God has given us this desire, this heart for the lost to be well, that no one in this world, in this neighborhood, in this Lincoln Park area should not have an opportunity to hear the gospel.
And I think that's what you're seeing all over the world, especially with young people.
That's what they're creating.
You were inspired.
I don't know if I inspire anybody.
