Legends of Women's Basketball w/ Author NICOLE MELLEBY! - LHH 50

but it's been a hell of a season so far i'm actually i'm grateful it's hard to explain to you know neophytes why there's a pause right now um for the the women's world cup i am super grateful for it i'm like it's like oh i like can can breathe and yeah right kind of these like big picture things and like I don't have to, you know, okay, like, oh, so tomorrow is like, oh, it's a day game.

It's on, you know, the East Coast.

So Cheryl will talk at noon and I got to do it.

So it's just like, okay, yeah, we just have these days.

I kind of love, I have, I've always loved just live sports and not in prime time.

I love a weekday day game of any kind.

Um, like let's fight the establishment that we should just be working our asses off from nine to five and then we get our sports.

So like, Oh yeah.

USA, China, 7am central.

Let's go baby.

Um,

Yeah, we have big breakfast plans tomorrow to watch the game.

Amazing,

yeah.

And yeah, got to get up even earlier to watch Chloe Bibby and Australia play at 4.30 in the morning.

I don't think I'll quite make that one.

Yeah,

but re-record it, you know, watch it as pregame for the US game.

Yeah, I mean, personally, considering the Liberty season, I'm glad for a break.

I feel like we need a bit of a break.

Yeah.

I was about to just ask about, you know, the WC in the day, but we should pause and talk about the world cup too, because the Liberty have the most players participating, eight total players.

The links have seven who are there.

One being Emma Chico who can't play and one Elena Buena Vida who plays for Spain aside on a development contract, but hasn't been in Minnesota yet.

So it still hasn't practiced with the Lynx, but she's still a Lynx, people.
