Breanna Stewart

So here's the setup.

This was the final regular season game for both teams, but the Liberty were also missing Stewie.

Breonna Stewart out with left knee soreness.

Atlanta came in needing a win to lock up its seating and it had everything to play for.

who are not part of these controversies.

If you look at Paige Beckers, who's a great player for the Dallas Wings, you look at Sabrina Ionescu, you look at, you know, Brianna Stewart, you look at all of these different players there, you know, Kelsey Plum and Cameron Brink.

There's all kinds of different white women who are playing in this game.

The question is the combination.

So advertisers like that.

And they've always had to look to other sources of income to be able to make a living because their WNBA salaries usually weren't going to be enough.

So they've always kind of had to like kind of like whether it's becoming, you know, an influencer, like whether it is, you know, doing TV deals, whether it's like Nafisa Gallier and Brianna Stewart founding a whole other league.

There's the NIL aspect of it where a lot of the young players are coming in.

that's one of those ones you were like but how is she on the second team she won defensive player of the year and you're it's one of those we're like yes yeah yeah you just answer with a with a yeah yep good All-WNBA first team, however, featured from the Minnesota Lynx, Olivia Miles, who also won Rookie of the Year.

Brianna Stewart from the New York Liberty.

Asia Wilson, of course, she just won her fifth MVP.

And how about Indiana favorite teammates, Kaitlyn Clark and Kelsey Mitchell, both on the All-WNBA first team.

Kelsey Mitchell was second in the league in scoring.

Aja Wilson was first in the league in scoring.

And, again, say what you will about Brianna Stewart.

Maybe they could have replaced her with Angel Reese, and then you would have had pretty far.

Angel McCautry, their best player, 0-12 all time in the WNBA finals because she got swept a fourth time when she was on the Aces

in the bubble against Breanna Stewart and Seattle.

All right.

And elsewhere in pro basketball, the NBA season, of course, began this week.

You know, Aaliyah Boston is a max player in my mind.

But you look at, like, let's say the New York Liberty situation and the contracts that Brianna Stewart and Jonquil Jones and Sabrina Ionescu did to help team build.

That's a factor.

And I don't think you make a...

And so right before tip off, Alicia, we got all WNBA first and second team.

We did the first team is Asia Wilson, Brianna Stewart, Caitlin Clark, Kelsey Mitchell, and Olivia Miles.

And the second team is Angel Reese, Ryan Howard, Shakira Austin, Jackie Young, and Paige Becker.

So that was announced earlier today.
